Project overview

Projects are both for doing and for learning. We treat each project not only as an opportunity for sustainable action but also as a chance to explore borders and create new knowledge.

Our projects are about partnership. Our partners are primarily members from different countries, different disciplines and backgrounds.

We love to share what we learn. For instance, through courses, publications and newsletters. And also through continued exploration of emerging topics, mostly online through Community of Practice meetings and Special Interest Groups.

You can engage in such metalearning events, as they happen in the Active projects.

Metalearning is about what we are learning to do differently, across all our projects.

Some examples:
– Online meetings culture
– Learning from experience
– Imaging, imagining and envisioning
– Attraction, co-creation, sprint
– Timing, meeting deadlines

Interpersonal relations play a paramount role in driving positive change towards achieving the SDGs.

At Legacy17, we understand the importance of fostering strong connections and cultivating effective communication to create a lasting impact.

We empower individuals, organizations, and communities to collaborate, innovate, and lead the way towards a more sustainable future.

Our members work independently in 14 countries on four continents. We learn together and join forces in projects, jointly developing citizens’ skills for deep societal transformation.
