Win a trip to Vienna, Austria in 2021

Make a video about healthy and sustainable food consumption with an emphasis on reducing food waste! Meet students from Austria, Denmark, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey!

Sustainable Food Consumption

Topics of your video submissions may range from:  Shopping skills, cooking skills, food waste, food storage, connection of dietary health and planetary health. How can less wealthy consumer groups, consumer groups with lower education levels achieve a sustainable food lifestyle?

Target group: Adults. A jury comprised of representatives of the SUSCOF consortium will select the winning entries.

Swedish contestants register by email to Legacy17: info@legacy17.org by 23 April 2021. Final submissions on YouTube by end of spring semester.

Guidelines

      • Eligible Participants:
        Students attending one of the SUSCOF partner universities or invited by Legacy17 in Sweden
      • 1 submission per participant or group/class
      • Students should base the content of their videos on the SUSCOF website containing reports and the SCOFI Index
      • Length of submitted videos: max. 5 minutes, format: mp4, wmv, mov or avi
      • Must be in English
      • Can be stop-motion videos, drawings, slideshows, animated films or just regular videos
      • Contest platform is YouTube; detailed uploading information will be sent to those registering
      • Videos will be judged on the creativity and originality of the thoughts and ideas expressed
      • Winners will be announced on the SUSCOF website as well as by mail
      • The winning entries will be screened for an international audience, and livestreamed, in September/October 2021 in Vienna

Video submissions that do not comply with the YouTube Terms of Service or these guidelines, or that otherwise contain prohibited, inappropriate, or irrelevant content will be disqualified, removed from the selection and not considered for a prize.

Award:
The prize for the winners is a trip to Vienna to a project event in September/October 2021. The award will cover the costs of travel and accommodation for the event.
